My Credentials
Completed vocational training in Computer Systems Programming (EQF Level 5) at ATEC (2017). Subsequently attained ISTQB certifications including Foundation Level (2017), Agile Tester (2018), and Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer (2019), contributing to a structured background in software testing and quality assurance.
What I am doing
In my current role, I design and implement scalable test automation solutions, build reusable frameworks, and execute functional, API, and performance test suites. I manage the full test lifecycle, coordinate testing activities across teams, drive CI/CD test integration, handle defect tracking, and provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues. I also research and evaluate emerging practices to improve quality and delivery.
The Future of Testing
Looking ahead, I see the role of automation engineers evolving toward optimization, efficiency, and broader collaboration. Test automation will become more accessible and democratized, with tools like Playwright and GenAI-driven test generation enabling teams to deliver quality faster. I am committed to exploring these emerging technologies to streamline workflows and elevate software delivery.
